Why Handcrafted?
Why handcrafted? “Good work proceeding from the whole man, heart, head, and hand, in proper balance” Clearly something was lacking that mechanized labour did not supply. I have often called it the heartbeat in work. Enthusiasm and play of imagination...it is the degree of life force canalized into a craft. The degree; the purity; the intensity.
